Ren Suzugamori

Ren has a pretty powerful psychic power called Psyqualia, which in short allows him to drag people's minds/spirit forms into a vivid psychic image of another planet called Cray. In this mental space, he essentially has total control, and can possess ("ride") and call residents of the planet to his aid for various reasons, which can be anything from showing someone his cool interplanetary friends to attacking whoever he's brought in with him. While he can't injure someone's physical body with this power, their body will feel the corresponding level of pain if they are attacked in this space - i.e. he could do something like cut through someone's legs in the image and they'd feel the pain as if it really happened despite the lack of actual injury. Whatever happens in the space will also feel and appear completely real to whoever's experiencing it. It can be used either on specific targets or as an area of effect, and it seems to hold people in place in reality when he uses it, so even without harming anyone it can be used as a distraction of sorts.

Regardless of whether he's using it for benign or malicious reasons, I will not have Ren use this power on another character without discussing it with the player first. It is, however, more likely to be relevant if someone tries to attack him to kill/severely injure (as he may use it to defend himself) or force their way into his head. As such, I will likely bring it into discussion if a thread starts going in that direction so I can be sure of whether or not to use it in advance, though if you know your character is leaning towards attempting something like that in a thread, feel free to approach me about it first! On the opposite end of the scale, he may employ it just to harmlessly show someone Cray and the beings that live there, in which case I'll still request permission to use it because of the nature of the power, but nobody has to worry about getting hurt by anything.

Psyqualia (or Ren himself, since he's been shown to use it before he gained Psyqualia) also has a vague aura-reading ability - in canon it only works on other Psyqualia users and decks in the hands of specific people (though it's also implied at points he can sense malicious energies from enemies as well, so it may just be that he usually only runs into those people in terms of who has noteworthy auras in his world), but if your character has a distinct aura there's a possibility he may be able to sense it too. Again, this won't be used without player permission in advance, so feel free to approach me if you'd like to thread something with it!
